Jack and Stephen wishing each other joy of the 5 Year Anniversary of the Master and Commander movie.
I can't believe it's already been five years. Amazing.
It was the film that first introduced me to the awesomeness of history. It was the film that got my Auntie Ros to read the books, and it was her who all but forced me to read them.
Now, five years on and I'm happily rereading the entire series, fangirling Thomas Cochrane and halfway through a book about the Mauritius Campaign. I've met a bunch of wonderful people from all over the world who I am lucky enough to call my friends, and who won't look at me funny when I go gooey over naturalists and naval battles.
